The New GRXI+ is superior in every way to its predecessors. Built on a totally new, redesigned high modular carbon blanks, the new range gives you more power in the butt section, yet still has the fast recovery speed loved by all anglers. Advances in rod building technology have allowed us to now offer an improved rod in a 4 piece make up, making transportation easier. The GRXi+ also features a new handle style, giving hard wearing Multi-Composite Cork at wear points. My GRXi+ is the most amazing rod I have ever fished with. It casts like a dream without much effort, picks up line beautifully and when I lift into a take, and the fight is just amazing. I thought I had hooked a 6 pounder on my first outing, it fought like stink making many runs, I nearly had it in the net twice only for it to run again. The trout weighed 2 12 pounds.
