The X-Flite Spin is designed to push build quality and value for money to the very limits in a high-performance spinning rod. The low diameter blanks and high intermediate modulus carbon construction really do make the difference when ‘feel' is essential to success.The lightweight hardware improves already impressive recovery rates and assists impressive line feel for accurate distance casting.
The handle is of high quality cork incorporating sections of hybrid rubberized cork. This improves grip in difficult cold and wet weather conditions. Long term durability is also increased, important in the design of a rod that is in constant use.

I've just returned from the River Isla, a tributary of the mighty Tay. With the new Greys 12ft X-Flite Bait rod I landed 2 Salmon at 7lbs and 14lbss. The rod is a dream to fish with - the "ultimate" spinning rod on the market.The rod can be easily casted single handed - a medium to large river rod great for spinning, & bait fishers too. A top of the range model but well worth the £149 price tag. They certainly don't come any better than this ?
