Hardy Academy Member Wins World Cup Lough Style Competition on Lough Mask

Hardy & Greys Academy member Mike Keady won the World Cup on Lough Mask on 2nd August, with a final day's catch of 5 trout for just under 7lb.

Mike beat 469 anglers, to take the amazing prize of a 19' lake boat, Honda 15 hp outboard, boat trailer and 10' Marksman Drifter rod.

Mike is a qualified Instructor S.T.A.N.I.C. in single-handed casting and fly dressing.

Mike's speciality is Stillwaters and fishing the Loughs of Ireland. He is renowned throughout Ireland as one of the leading Anglers in this field and is expert in all methods for catching wild Irish Brownies
